Mission
What is our mission...
As a doula, my mission is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support to expectant parents and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. I believe in empowering all expectant parents to make informed decisions about their pregnancy and childbirth experiences, and in helping them have the most positive and fulfilling experience possible, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. I am dedicated to promoting the well-being of all expectant parents and their babies, and to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all those involved in the childbirth process.
For the greater part of my life I have loved nothing more than family. I have always been placed in the presence of babies and children. I have always wanted to be an encouragement to others. Being a Doula was destined for me without me ever knowing what a Doula was or what it meant. God has always placed me on the path to lead me to my purpose. I'm just thankful that I payed attention. One has to be willing to lose everything in order to gain what God has shaped them for. There's a cost to everything that matters most in life. It is in that sacrifice that we find our true treasure.
How I got started
Doulagy has been in the making for several years. I began in Southern California as Sheicando several years ago. Graduated from the Swaddle Company a few years thereafter. Moved to Texas and now I have come to find comfort and peace in who we are now called Doulagy! It is all of the brands rolled into one. Our motto is "Do utilize all given to YOU!" On my journey, I have experienced many obstacles to get here. I now realize it was all for who and what we have become - A family that helps families.
